We Believe

As members of the world wide Seventh-day Adventist Movement, we hold to the fundamental teachings of the pioneers grounded in the belief that the Word of God is the only authority for the Christian faith.

In 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Paul offers the following counsel...
“continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works”.

It is by the authority of the Word of God that we emphasize the need for individual and collective study of the Scriptures. It is also by this authority that we live and seek to fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20...
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
